First up is the venerable scream queen Danielle Harris. A veteran of both Halloween franchises Danielle Harris has starred in a dizzying array of popular horror films including Hatchet, Shiver, ChromeSkull, and Night of the Living Dead: Darkest Dawn, to name a few.
We touch on a few films including her upcoming flick Last Chance Motel, also starring Scout Taylor-Compton.
Dave Barclay joins us next. Covered in memorable Yoda photos, Dave's table was a hotbed of activity and for good reason. He helped bring one of the most cherished characters in film to life. His puppeteer work with Yoda is just scratching the surface.
Dave chronicled his life's work in his book "My Life With Animatronics. Movies, Puppets and Beyond" now available at https://coolwatersprods.com/ , or directly here. For more information email info@coolwatersprods.com .
Mitch Eason, writer of Chainsaw Angels, talks about his debut comic book which is proving to be an excellent read. Chainsaw Angels follows a popular trend of using the term zombie to categorize his antagonists while twisting the enemy into his own vision, much the same way Danny Boyle did in 28 Days Later. Zombies, but different. Mitch has more planned for the series, so we suggest jumping into this one now.
Our final interview of the Con is with Mike Hernandez of Killer Clowns from Outer Space fame. Mike Hernandez has made a career of stunt car driving and speaks on his work in various films. Mike's work as a stuntman is one of the more critical roles a film crew member is tasked with, and like Dave Barclay they bring movies to life.
The Grim and Bloody Podcast will be back at Sinister Creature Con (with an even bigger presence!) October 18th and 19th at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center. Visit https://www.facebook.com/sinistercreaturecon/ for more.
